Shourya S. Roy Burman is a scientist in the laboratory of Eric Fischer at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School. He focuses on the design of new degradation systems, including degrader molecules and chemically-inducible degradation tags for target validation. He was awarded the Cancer Research Institute Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship for computationally designing new degradation tags that can be used to regulate engineered cell therapies. He received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University developing protein–protein docking methods in the Rosetta Macromolecular Suite in Jeffrey Gray's group. These docking methods form the basis of various PROTAC-induced ternary complex prediction tools.
